The first step is choosing a restaurant. The main things to consider are price,location, and menu2 selection. The restaurant has to fit into your budget.It should be nearby or easily accessible3 for all guests and have a suitable selection of food. It’s important to find out whether your guests have anyspecial preferences or needs. Is there anyone who is a vegetarian,4 doesn’teat beef or pork, or has food allergies?5

Next, make the reservation. Ask for a table in a quiet area, or even a privateroom. If possible, visit the restaurant in advance. This will help you work outseating arrangements beforehand, so you can make sure the most importantguest gets the best seat!

Finally, send out the invitations. Remember to include the name, address, and phone number of the restaurant. If possible, attach a map showing the location. Ask guests to confirm their attendance,6 so you know who is coming. If necessary, make phone calls the day before to remind guests of the appointment,7 and to make sure they know how to get to the restaurant.
